VOLUNTEER CALL: Train to be a facilitator for Mosaic, the new anti-racism curriculum from the Unitarian Universalist Association! TXUUJM is looking for facilitators to help us bring this important program to Texas UUs and our congregations. Email michelle@txuujm.org for more info!

The TXUUJM is proud to have been a part of the effort to present Abolition, Transformation and Faith Formation as a denomination-wide Congregational Study Action Issue (CSAI) for 2025-2029. The issue passed and we intend to be part of this work with our partners at the Church of the Larger Fellowship, the UUA, fellow state action networks, and all of YOU! Learn more about Abolition and the CSAI here, read Rev. Erin’s and Bis’ combined statement at the end of this email, and . . . .

In June 2023, the Texas UU Justice Ministry co-sponsored a big event with Paula Cole Jones on the 8th Principle, Article II, our history and more. See reflections and videos from that week here.

In November 2022, the Texas UU Justice Ministry co-sponsored the Jubilee III training, an online anti-racism program that gives YOU the chance to spend a transformative weekend with leaders in Unitarian Universalism. TXUUJM joined partners and TXUUJM member churches Wildflower UU, First UU Austin and San Antonio, Live Oak UU, and San Marcos UU Fellowship in sponsoring this session of Jubilee III.
